Joseph Moskowitz

Front Desk Administrator
I grew up in Perry, Ohio, in Lake County. I have loved health and fitness since I was a child. I taught myself how to do gymnastics in my backyard, was a cheerleader from 6th–12th grade, and have been working out since I was in high school. I have my associate’s degree from Lakeland Community College, and I hope to attend school to become a Physical Therapy Assistant in the future.

Before starting at In Motion PT, I was an Assistant Manager and Personal Trainer for 20+ years at Mentor Heisley Racquet and Fitness Club and then at One-to-One Fitness. I am certified in teaching Kettlebell Concepts 1 and USA Powerlifting, and am skilled at working with people of all ages and ability levels. I have learned many amazing skills, and I have met so many wonderful people. I love the customer service aspect of both positions.

Core Values
The core values that drive me are wellness, empathy, sympathy, encouragement, compassion, friendship, loyalty, kindness, responsibility, honesty, and integrity.

“One day you will tell your story of how you overcame what you went through, and it will be someone else’s survival guide.” – Brené Brown

I am the Front Office Administrator. I am here to aid the Physical Therapy staff in their day-to-day responsibilities and to provide a great experience for all our patients. In addition to this role, I am also a Personal Trainer with 20+ years of experience, and I am happy to continue working with our patients once they have graduated from Physical Therapy.

Whether you are new to exercise or exercise has been a part of your life, it can be intimidating to join a new place, meet new people, learn new things, and face the goals set in front of you. I want to show you that you can do this, to show you the benefits and the importance of Physical Therapy and Personal Training, to increase your confidence, to show you what an amazing company this is, and to show you what you can achieve in your daily life when you put forth the effort to get better and stronger. Most of all, showing you how to increase your strength, improve your balance, and recover from whatever brought you to our office to help you lead a more fulfilling life.

What I like about working here is the chance to meet and help people of all ages. I like being the first person our patients see to help motivate them and give them good energy for their appointment and for their day, and I like being the last person to wish them well as they leave. It is so rewarding to see our patients get stronger and healthier.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Ben; our daughter, Elizabeth; our four cats; and our dog. I enjoy connecting with my friends and helping them with their fitness and health goals. I enjoy doing strength training and cardiovascular exercise to remain healthy and strong. We like playing board games, shopping, going for walks, and attending our daughter’s gymnastics meets.
