Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to making this website usable for every patient, and how to reach us if something doesn’t work for you.

Our commitment

In Motion Physical Therapy wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to find a provider, learn about our services, and request an appointment on this website. We are actively working to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard most widely used to measure digital accessibility.

What we’ve done

Before this site launched, we reviewed it against WCAG 2.1 AA and made changes including:

  • Keyboard access to every menu, form, and interactive tool on the site, including a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link on every page.
  • Descriptive text alternatives for photos, staff portraits, and icons.
  • Labels and error messages on every form field that a screen reader can read, not just see.
  • Text and background colors checked for sufficient contrast, with a few adjusted where they fell short.
  • Motion and auto-playing content that respects your device’s reduced-motion setting and never traps your focus.
  • Page structure (headings, landmarks, page titles) built so screen readers and other assistive technology can navigate the site in a logical order.

Ongoing review

Accessibility is not a one-time project. We recheck this site whenever we add or change a page, and we welcome feedback at any time, not just when something is broken.

Known limitations

The Google reviews widget on our home page is supplied and operated by a third party (Elfsight, displaying Google review content). We’ve confirmed it loads only after you scroll to it and falls back to a text link to our Google reviews if it can’t load, but we don’t control its internal code and can’t guarantee it meets the same standard as the rest of this site. If you have trouble with that section, the “Read every review on Google” link next to it goes to the same reviews directly.

Our online payment and scheduling portals are operated by our practice management vendor on their own domain, separate from this website. If either is hard to use, call us and we’ll take care of it over the phone.

Let us know

If you use assistive technology and something on this site doesn’t work the way it should, tell us. We respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.

Call (216) 577-1933 or email office@inmotionptohio.com. If you’d rather not wait on a fix, our staff can always take your questions and book your appointment by phone.
